The Evita variety belongs to the double, or peony-flowered, tulip group. The plant reaches 30–40 cm in height. Large double flowers have a pure white color, sometimes with a creamy-yellow or greenish tint at the base of the petals. The flowering period occurs in April.

The Flaming Evita variety stands out as a separate double variety with a height of 30–40 cm. Its coloration is characterized by a transition from pale yellow at the base to white with green strokes on the outer side of the petals. Flowering occurs in late April and May.

The plants are frost-resistant, withstanding temperatures down to -40°C. They prefer sunny locations with well-drained fertile soils. With excessive moisture, they are susceptible to fungal bulb rots and can also be affected by the tulip breaking virus.
