The tulip variety «Icoon» (Icon) belongs to the group of late double tulips. The plant reaches a height of 30–50 cm and possesses a sturdy stem, which provides resistance to wind and lodging. The flowers are double, with a diameter of 7.5–15 cm, and in shape resemble a combination of a peony and a rose.

The color of the petals is orange-red with golden shades and possible green flecks. The variety has a pleasant aroma and propagates well by daughter bulbs. Flowering occurs in April–May.

The variety is versatile and suitable for cultivation in open ground, containers, and for forcing and cut flowers.
