The variety belongs to the group of double late tulips. The flowers are large, 10–15 cm in diameter, peony-shaped, orange or red-orange in color, sometimes with golden or greenish splashes, and possess fragrance.

The plant height is 30–55 cm; stems are strong and resistant to lodging. The variety is mid-flowering, suitable for forcing, including water forcing. When cooling bulbs at 9 °C, forcing is possible from the 48th week, and the process takes about 25 days.
