The variety belongs to the group of fringed tulips. Its flowers have a goblet shape, the petals are distinguished by triangular outlines and strong dissection along the edges, forming a long needle-like fringe. The color of the buds varies from red to red-burgundy.
The plant reaches a height of 36 to 55 cm and possesses a sturdy stem. During flowering, which occurs in May, the variety emits a pleasant fragrance.
The tulip is suitable for forcing, requiring a cooling period at 9 °C for about 15 weeks. It is used for landscaping flower beds, borders, rock gardens, growing in containers, and as a cut flower crop.
