The variety belongs to the double early tulip group. Its large ruffled flower is about 5.5–6 cm in length and height and consists of several layers of petals.
The petal coloring is bicolored: the base tone varies from dark purple to red-violet, complemented by yellow and orange splashes or streaks.
The plant is an early variety. It is used as an ornamental crop for landscaping flower beds and garden plots, and is also used in floral arrangements and bouquets.
