The variety belongs to the double early tulip group. The plant reaches a height of 35–50 cm, has strong peduncles and glossy sagittate green leaves. The buds in their open state have a diameter of 6–12 cm and are colored in warm tones: saturated orange, coral or apricot with yellow shades and possible greenish or reddish streaks.
Flowering occurs in the period from April to May. The plant possesses high winter hardiness, withstanding frosts down to -40°C. The variety is suitable for forcing in substrates or water, provided a cooling period of 3.5–4 months at a temperature of +9°C is observed. It is used in landscape design, container gardening, and professional floristry.
