The 'Malista Parrot' tulip belongs to the parrot tulip class. Its flowers are 8–8.5 cm long, possess a characteristic ruffled, fringed petal shape, and a bicolored coloration combining a dark purple-red main tone with a yellow border.

The peduncle height is from 30 to 40 cm. The variety is used for decorative landscaping of gardens, flower beds, lawns, container cultivation, and cutting.
