The Mi Amor variety is a mutant of the Mon Amour variety and belongs to the fringed tulip group, although in some sources it is classified as a double fringed or late double tulip. The plant reaches a height of 30–50 cm and has large flowers with a pronounced fringe on the edges of the petals.
The flowering period occurs in April–May. The variety is characterized by sturdy stems and is suitable for cut flowers, maintaining durability in a vase, as well as for forcing, including water culture, with a preliminary cooling period at a temperature of 9 °C. Recommended for use in borders and flower beds.
