Variety description

The cultivar is a mutation of the Darwin hybrid «Negrita». The appearance of the flower is characterized by intricately fringed, ruffled, and wavy petals. The color is saturated, violet-purple, often with greenish streaks at the base or along the edges of the petals. In full bloom, the flower diameter reaches 10–15 cm, and the height of the peduncles is 40–50 cm.

The cultivar is late-flowering, with blooming occurring in mid-to-late May. Due to the large and heavy bud, stems may be prone to lodging, therefore planting in areas protected from strong wind or the use of supports is recommended. The cultivar is used for landscaping flower beds, borders, rock gardens, container growing, and cutting.
