The variety is a double late peony-flowered tulip, which is a natural mutation of the variety Negrita. The flower consists of a large number of petals, has a dark purple color with violet-lilac, crimson or bluish shades, sometimes with greenish streaks on the outer petals. The flower diameter varies from 8 to 15 cm.
The plant height is from 40 to 60 cm, the leaves are broad, dark green in color. Flowering occurs in late April and May. The plant has good frost resistance, however, due to heavy inflorescences, it may require support when the flower is fully open. The variety is suitable for growing in containers, flower beds and for use as cut flowers.
