Variety description

The variety is a mutation of the Darwin hybrid "Negrita". The flower is large, cup-shaped, reaching 10–15 cm in diameter. The petals have a strongly dissected, ruffled shape with ragged edges. The coloration is deep violet-purple, often with greenish streaks at the base.

The plant reaches a height of 40–50 cm. Leaves are green, broad, lanceolate, sometimes with a bluish tint. Flowering occurs in May. The variety is winter-hardy and requires protection from strong wind due to the weight of the buds. Disease resistance is medium.
