Variety description

The variety forms flowers with a complex color, combining purple on the petal tips with pronounced greenish-gray shades. The surface of the petals is double with fringe along the edges, which gives the plant a resemblance to an artichoke.

The plant reaches a height of 40 to 65 cm and has broad lanceolate foliage of gray-green color. Flowering occurs in May. The variety prefers sunny sites with well-drained sandy or loamy soils.

Used primarily in ornamental gardening as a collector's specimen. Due to the unusual shape and color of the inflorescences, the variety is well-suited for cutting and creating bouquets.
