Tulip Purple Rain belongs to the Triumph class. The flower has a goblet shape, a saturated deep lilac color, and a satin petal structure. The bud height is 7–10 cm with a diameter of 10–12 cm. The plant reaches 40–60 cm in height, has a sturdy purple-green peduncle and narrow green leaves.
The variety is mid-season flowering; the flowering period occurs in April–May. Due to the strength of the stem, the plant is resistant to wind and rain. The variety is characterized by long-lasting freshness when cut for up to 12–18 days, propagates well, and is suitable for forcing, group plantings, and container cultivation.
