Red Dress tulip belongs to the group of crowned tulips. The plant reaches a height of 40–50 cm and possesses a sturdy peduncle capable of supporting a large bud. The flower has a characteristic shape with dense, textured, ruffled petals, the edges of which are elegantly recurved and curled.

The petal color is a rich ruby-red or burgundy. The variety is characterized by a mid-late or late flowering period occurring in April-May. The plants have a strong constitution and are used for landscaping, rock garden design, and cut flowers, maintaining their shape and color in a vase.
