Tulipa Red Purissima belongs to the Fosteriana hybrids class. The plant reaches a height of 30–50 cm, flowering begins in April and can continue until early May. The variety possesses strong stems and good adaptability.

The flowers are large, of classic goblet shape, 7–10 cm in height. The petal color is bright red or cherry-red; a yellowish or golden hue is present at the base of the flower. The variety is suitable for decorating flower beds, borders, rock gardens, group plantings, and for cutting, however, it is not intended for forcing in water.
