The variety belongs to the lily-flowered tulip group. The plant's petals are pointed, often slightly twisted, of a deep bright red color with greenish accents at the tips. Peduncle height ranges from 30 to 50 cm.
Flowering occurs in April. The plant possesses winter hardiness corresponding to USDA zones 3–8 and is suitable for cultivation in temperate climates. The variety is intended for use in flower beds, borders, and bouquets, and is noted for good vase life.
Planting requires sunny or semi-shaded locations with fertile, loose, and well-drained soil. Bulbs are planted in autumn at a depth of approximately 10 cm.
