Variety description

Red Wave variety belongs to the parrot tulip class. The flowers are distinguished by an exotic shape with ragged, ruffled petal edges, colored in shades from ruby and wine-red to pink with characteristic green stripes. The peduncle height reaches 40–50 cm, and the bud height is 9–10 cm.

The plant is a mid-late to late variety, with flowering occurring in April–May. The variety has frost resistance corresponding to zone 3 and sturdy peduncles. In landscape design, it is used for group plantings, borders, and flower beds, and is also used in floristry for cut flowers due to its vase life.
