The bud of the variety is large, reaching 8–10 cm in height and 5–7 cm in diameter. A distinctive feature of the petals is the dense needle-like fringe along the edges. The flower color is scarlet, the base is black with a yellow border.

Flowering occurs in the period from late April to May. The plant possesses disease resistance and winter hardiness, and tolerates overwintering in the soil well. Cut flowers hold their shape for a long time and are suitable for transportation.

The variety is versatile in use: it is applied for decorating flower beds, borders, rock gardens, as well as for cultivation in containers and creating bouquets.
