Variety description

The variety belongs to the parrot tulip group. The flowers have a characteristic shape with wavy and fringed petal edges. The coloring is a rich red-crimson, with streaks of green or dark brown color possibly present at the base or along the edges of the petals.

The plant height is from 25 to 50 cm, most often varying in the 35–45 cm range. The variety is late-flowering, with the flowering period occurring in April-May. The plant requires protection from strong winds due to large, heavy flowers and needs well-drained soils.

The tulip is suitable for use in open field, borders, containers, and as a cut flower crop. Forcing is possible using cooling at a temperature of 9 degrees for 16 weeks.
