The variety belongs to the class of double late tulips, which externally resemble peonies. During flowering, the color of the petals changes: initially golden-yellow with orange-red streaks, they gradually become completely orange-red. Plant height varies from 25 to 55 cm.
The plant is late-flowering; blooming occurs in May. Due to the large heavy buds, planting in wind-protected areas is recommended to prevent lodging. The variety is suitable for landscaping flower beds, rock gardens, container cultivation, and use as cut flowers. In a number of sources, the variety is identified as «Double Beauty of Apeldoorn».
