For tulips with the trade name "Sugar Prince", the plant height is indicated from 34 to 50 cm. The flower color is described as pink, mauve, or lilac. The variety is positioned as suitable for cut flowers, garden cultivation, or container growing.

In a number of sources, the variety is referred to as "Triumph Tulip", however, official information regarding the originator, exact classification group, and disease resistance is absent. There is a high probability that the name is a marketing term and may duplicate other varieties of the "Prince" group.
