The variety is a hybrid of the lowbush Canadian variety Brunswick and the highbush variety June. The compact and dense bush reaches a height of 0.8–1.5 m and possesses resistance to lodging. The plant is capable of withstanding frosts down to –30°C.

The ripening period is early to mid-early; the harvest is collected in August. The berries are of medium to large size, with a firm consistency and sweet taste, suitable for fresh consumption and processing. The variety requires cross-pollination, for which the variety Aino is recommended.

The crop prefers sunny sites with acidic, humus-rich soils. Due to the shallow root system, the variety requires regular watering, especially during dry periods.
