The Apolo variety (designation BB06-126VC-4) belongs to the Southern Highbush blueberry group. It was obtained by crossing the Camellia and Rebel varieties. The bush has good vigor, is semi-upright, and has a small crown.
The berries of the variety are very large, with an average weight of about 2.9 g. They are distinguished by high density, juiciness, and a crunchy texture; the flavor is characterized by a balance of sugar and acidity. The variety is intended for regions with moderate chilling requirements.
