HortBlue Petite is a low-growing variety with dense branching, with bush height varying from 80 cm to 1.3 m. The berries are small in size, have a sweet taste, and a dark purple color. The variety is a tetraploid and demonstrates the phenomenon of metaxenia, in which pollen affects fruit characteristics.
The plant has remontant properties: the first crop ripens in July, the second forms on summer shoot growth and ripens from September until the onset of frost. The variety is self-fertile, however, cross-pollination with other varieties helps to increase yield and berry size. Frost resistance is estimated in the range from -30°C to -36°C.
