The variety is an upright shrub with a tendency to spread, reaching a height of 1.2 to 2.4 meters. The plant requires a low number of winter chilling hours (about 200–400 hours) and is adapted to mild climatic conditions.

The berries of the variety are large, have a firm consistency, a pronounced waxy bloom, and a sweet taste. The variety is self-fertile, however, cross-pollination is recommended to increase yield. The plant is demanding regarding soil acidity levels and drainage quality.
