The variety is a hybrid of Vaccinium angustifolium and Vaccinium corymbosum. The bush is characterized by a compact habit with stiff, upright shoots, although descriptions with spreading branches also occur. The leaves are small, elongated, bright green, with sparse pubescence on the underside.
The fruits are spherical in shape, dark blue with a waxy bloom and a rather large scar; the flesh contains anthocyanin infiltrates. The variety shows high resistance to frost down to –30 °C and drought, and is prone to intense shoot thickening. A tendency to produce small fruits is noted.
