The variety is a hybrid involving lowbush blueberry, possesses a compact bush 50–70 cm in height, which grows slowly and forms root suckers. The branches are erect, not prone to lodging, which, in combination with red autumn foliage, allows the plant to be used for decorative purposes or grown in containers.
Berry ripening occurs in late July – early August. The fruits are dark blue, almost black in color with a waxy bloom, reaching 12–14 mm in diameter and weighing up to 1 g. The taste of the berries is characterized as sweet and aromatic, and they are gathered in dense clusters.
The plant possesses extreme winter hardiness, is adapted to the conditions of northern countries, and is distinguished by resistance to diseases and pests.
