The variety is a vigorous, upright bush with a compact shape. Chill requirements are approximately 300–400 hours, which corresponds to USDA hardiness zones 7–9/10. It is an early-maturing variety; berries ripen earlier than many counterparts.
The fruits are large, firm, with a good dry picking scar, forming loose clusters. The plant possesses resistance to stem canker, but may show susceptibility to stem blight. The variety is intended for the fresh market and allows for the possibility of mechanical harvesting.
In regions with very mild climates, the variety may require specific agrotechnical practices to stimulate spring leafing and requires careful pruning.
