The variety was obtained as a result of open pollination of the Sweetcrisp variety. The plant belongs to the southern highbush blueberry group and demonstrates a chill requirement of 150–200 hours at temperatures below 7 degrees Celsius.
The flowering and fruit ripening period is 7–10 days earlier than the Suziblue and Rebel varieties under conditions in the southern part of the state of Georgia. The variety is intended for commercial use, and its morphological traits are stable during vegetative propagation.
