The variety is a hybrid of the lines TH-653 and the variety Millennia. The bush is characterized by high growth vigor; the chilling hour requirement at 7°C or below is 500–550 hours.

The variety matures in mid-to-late May depending on the growing region. Late flowering helps protect against spring frosts. The berries are distinguished by good flavor and dry stem scars; the variety shows stable yield.

The purpose of the variety is to fill the production period between early southern highbush blueberry varieties and late rabbiteye-type varieties.
