The plant is a low-growing ground-cover perennial, reaching a height of 15–23 cm and a width of 30–45 cm. The leaves are glossy, dark green, serrated, and have a strongly dissected fern-like shape; the plant is semi-evergreen.
The flowers are collected in upright racemose inflorescences and have a violet-blue color with a small white eye. The flowering period lasts from late spring to autumn. The variety is intended for edging borders, alpine slides, bordering paths, and container cultivation.
