The variety belongs to the genus Hebe, which is included in the genus Veronica L. in modern botanical classification. In gardening, such plants are known as shrubby veronicas.

The plant is a compact shrub with medium-green leaves. During the summer period, it produces racemose inflorescences of a pale-lilac shade.

The variety is used in ornamental gardening. It is used for container planting, patio decoration, and border design.
