The variety is a hybrid of Veronica longifolia x Veronica spicata. The plant forms a dense, compact clump and reaches a height of about 40–60 cm. The flowers are gathered in upright spike-shaped inflorescences; the flowering period occurs between June and September.

The plant is hardy, frost-resistant (USDA zones 4a–7b), and resistant to rabbits. The variety prefers sunny sites with fertile, well-drained soil. It is suitable for landscaping borders, mass plantings, and attracting pollinating insects.
