The shrub of the variety reaches 3.0 meters in height and is characterized by medium crown density with greenish-gray shoots. The round fruits have an average weight of about 1.16 g, and each contains a flat hard stone inside.

The berries ripen uniformly in the second ten-day period of September. The variety is characterized by high productivity, amounting to 10–13 kg per shrub, as well as frost resistance and drought tolerance.

The chemical composition of the fruits includes 11.3% sugars, 1.5% acids, vitamin C (62.4 mg%) and vitamin P (622.0 mg%). The berries have a sweet taste with a characteristic bitterness and are used in fruit and ornamental gardening and for medicinal purposes.
