The bush reaches a height of 3.0–3.5 m. The plant enters fruiting in the 3rd–4th year after planting. Mass ripening of berries occurs in the second ten-day period of September. The variety is characterized as winter-hardy, drought-tolerant, and sufficiently resistant to diseases and pests.

The fruits have red, juicy flesh. The average weight of a single fruit is 1.2–1.3 g. The variety is self-fertile, but cross-pollination is recommended to increase yield. The plant is used both for berry harvesting and for ornamental purposes.
