The Yaroslavna variety is a yellow-fruited form of Viburnum opulus. It was created during a selection process aimed at improving productivity, fruit quality, and plant adaptability.

The variety has a dual purpose: it is grown both for ornamental purposes and for fruit harvesting. The fruits are characterized by their content of biologically active substances, in particular polyphenolic compounds.
