The variety is widely used in breeding and genetic programs. It was used in studies of mutagenesis to isolate lines incapable of effective nitrogen fixation, and it also serves as a reference specimen in the analysis of seed nutritional value.

Studies of the nutrient profile of this variety show that removing the seed coat leads to an increase in protein and fat content. The variety is included in genetic resource catalogs for international scientific trials, however, detailed morphological parameters and official data for large-scale production are absent.
