The Omeya variety belongs to the small-seeded faba bean type. The plant has a tall stem and is distinguished by a longer development cycle compared to a number of other lines.

The variety shows resistance to Orobanche crenata infestation and demonstrates high tolerance to abiotic stresses, such as heat and drought. In Mediterranean conditions, the variety shows stable results in grain yield and nutrient accumulation.
