The variety is intended for use as feed grain, as well as for human consumption. It is characterized by a high protein yield, with vicine and convicine content at a normal level; tannin is present.
The plant is mid-season and is distinguished by high resistance to lodging. The variety shows good resistance to diseases such as rust and ascochyta blight.
The recommended seeding rate is 40–50 seeds per m² at a planting depth of 6 to 10 cm depending on the soil type. Sowing is carried out at early dates, as the plants are capable of tolerating frosts down to -5°C. Nitrogen fertilizers are not required for cultivation.
