The variety belongs to the group of fodder beans and is grown both for seeds and for fodder mass. It is regularly included in scientific studies aimed at examining plant resistance to pest infestation, in particular to the broad bean weevil Bruchus rufimanus.

In comparative trials, this variety demonstrates relatively high indicators for the number of healthy seeds and resistance to damage. The variety was also used in experiments to study the response to fungal diseases, such as Ascochyta fabae and Botrytis fabae.
