The Tifabo variety was obtained through X-ray irradiation and is classified as a plant with improved architecture. In agronomic studies, it is assigned to the group of Ti-forms, which possess a determinate growth type with a terminal inflorescence.

In comparative phytopathological studies, Tifabo-type forms demonstrated high susceptibility to fungal diseases, including Didymella fabae. At present, the variety is considered obsolete and is not widely cultivated.
