The variety is characterized by a determinate growth type and a relatively short stem. Seeds are elliptical in shape, and their seed coat is light yellow or beige.

The variety is used as an object for comparative scientific research, in particular in trials for resistance to Ascochyta blight (Ascochyta fabae) and chocolate spot (Botrytis fabae).
