ActiveVicia sativa L. · Common vetch
Mediterranea Sementi S.R.L
10 August 2026
The variety is classified as hairy vetch (winter), although in some sources it is mistakenly associated with common vetch due to its participation in comparative trials of different forage crop species. Genetically, the variety is grouped with other forage samples, such as Novi Beograd.
In field trials, the variety demonstrates dry matter productivity at the level of 10.2 t/ha. Due to contradictions in classification, experts recommend exercising caution when assigning the variety to the species Vicia sativa without consulting the primary breeding documentation of the originating institute.
