Variety description

10 August 2026

The variety belongs to the indeterminate type and is characterized by a tall stem. Due to rapid development in the initial period, it effectively suppresses weed growth. It possesses moderate drought tolerance and good adaptability to light soils, while being sensitive to low temperatures and susceptible to winterkill.

Green mass yield is 35–45 t/ha, dry matter — 7–8 t/ha. Seeds are characterized by high protein and lysine content. Due to its tendency to lodging when grown in pure stands, the variety is recommended for use in mixed sowings with cereal or legume crops.

The plant is used as a green manure crop and a component of agro-ecological mixtures, contributing to nitrogen accumulation and improvement of soil structure. It is used in organic farming as an effective predecessor in crop rotation.
