Variety description

The variety has a mid-season ripening period and a perfect flower. The vines have low vigor. Clusters are medium-sized, conical, often winged, compact or medium-compact. Berries are small or medium, rounded, golden-white in color with a black spot, and covered with a waxy bloom. The skin is thin, and the flesh is juicy.

The variety is considered difficult to cultivate due to high susceptibility to powdery mildew, downy mildew, and gray mold, which led to it being displaced by other crops. It is currently grown in limited quantities in Penedès and Tarragona.

Used exclusively for winemaking. The wines are characterized by minerality, high acidity, and notes of lemon, grapefruit, pineapple, and mango. It is used for the production of still, sparkling, and orange wines.
