The wine variety "Mir" (Greece) was obtained by crossing the varieties Iliada and Odessky cherny. It is a vigorous plant with a hermaphrodite flower and a ripening period of 146–155 days. The clusters are conical, medium-dense, with a weight of about 260 g. The berries are small, blue-black, with a thick waxy bloom, thick skin, and intensely colored pulp; they are characterized by high sugar content and yield.
The table variety "Mir" (Bulgaria) is characterized by an early ripening period and vigorous bushes. The clusters are conical, medium-dense or loose, with an average weight of 382 g. Large oval berries of dark red color possess fleshy and crispy pulp.
The variety "Mir ahmadi" is an Afghan table variety with a medium-late ripening period and large golden-yellow berries.
