The Redbrabro variety is a bushy plant with an upright habit. During comparative trials, the variety was classified as dwarf, regarding both foliage height and overall plant height including flowers.

The plant is a decorative crop used in gardening. In specialized publications, the variety appears within the Sundaze breeding series and was previously classified under the genus Bracteantha.
