Variety description

The plant reaches a height of 30–50 cm. The flowers are funnel-shaped with a diameter of 4.5–5.5 cm and an inflorescence length of 8.5–10 cm. The coloration varies from soft pink to saturated purple and dark pink shades with a cream or dark base. The dark green lanceolate foliage is often covered with light speckling.

Flowering occurs during the summer period from June to August. The variety is heat-loving, corresponding to USDA hardiness zones 8–11; in cold climates, it requires digging up tubers for the winter. The plant is valued for its sturdy stems and the velvety texture of the petals.
