Variety description

The variety is a natural color variation of the species. The inflorescences are spathes with a soft pink center and a pink spadix, the shade of which manifests more brightly in partial shade after rain. The leaves are deep green, have a sagittate shape and a glossy surface.

The plant reaches a height of 60–90 cm and blooms from May to October. Unlike some other forms of the species, it has a pronounced dormancy period in winter with the dieback of the above-ground part. It is a rhizomatous plant, prefers moist fertile drained soils and partial shade.

The variety is considered more demanding in care than the original species. It propagates by dividing rhizomes or by seeds, with seedlings developing more slowly than the mother plant. It possesses resistance to Verticillium wilt.
