The variety was obtained as a result of a controlled cross between the variety «Chianti» and an unnamed seedling. The plant is classified as a dwarf variety suitable for maintenance in limited spaces and containers.

The appearance is characterized by the deep coloration of the spathe and the distinct decorative nature of the foliage and peduncles. During selection of the variety, the priority criteria were stem strength, abundance of flowering, and compact bush form.

The plant is thermophilic and requires adherence to a watering regimen, provision of drainage, and protection from the effects of frosts. After the completion of the flowering and vegetation period, the variety requires a rest period in dry or cool conditions.
